Pipercross Performance Air Filter - MINI Gen 2

This Pipercross performance panel filter allows you to keep your standard air box in your MINI. Available for the Gen 2 Cooper and Cooper S/JCW this air filter replacement will provide better breathing power, therefore some moderate performance gains can be had from installing this filter. A better engine response and a nicer engine sound are other noticeable benefits.

The Gen1 Cooper S air box was designed well in that the portion above and below the filter was very open. The Gen 2 Cooper S air box is different, the lower portion of the standard Gen 2 Cooper S filter has very little room for air to travel across the entire filter. The Pipercross filter is slightly thinner and therefore removes some of this restriction. This simple change allows for more air to be drawn across the entire filter. Also, as a high flow foam filter, which like all our other foam filters provide less restriction, and the ability to clean it for the life of the car.

Suitable for all Gen 2 models - Clubman (R55), Hatch R56, Convertible R57, Coupe (R58) Roadster (R59), Countryman R60 and Paceman (R61)
