

Helix Autosport Clutch Drive Plate - Paddle
For competition use you will require the paddle drive plate. They are 215mm in diameter and rated to approximately 248lb/ft of torque (338Nm). Ceramic material is used in the four pads as its friction properties are retained at much higher temperatures than that of the organic material. The unsprung version is designed for use with the OEM flywheel. The sprung version is for an Aluminium flywheel, which features 6 damper springs arranged radially around the hub centre.
The paddle style plate can be used in road applications where the engine torque requires, however, unlike the organic version it will be less smooth to engage and prone to juddering upon take up.
Please note that if used with the standard pressure plate that the torque ratings will reduce by approximately 10%.
