The unique BF Exhaust Gas Temperature (EGT) Meter features a black tinted face, which leaves it completely black when turned off. Once the meter is turned on the 12 LEDs illuminate a crisp and clear analogue read out. Features include stepping motor technology, daisy chain link system, peak hold, warning and 3-min. playback. Available with amber, white and blue illumination to either match your vehicle, or create a new colour scheme. The gauge is 60mm in diameter and 52mm deep.
This EGT gauge from Defi will display gas temperatures from 200C to 1100C, and will allow the user to see the exhaust gas temperature generated. This can be interesting to monitor for those who have increased the performance of their car from standard. To install the gauge a part of exhaust close to the head will have to be removed and a fitting (supplied) welded in. This gauge will require the Control Unit II for operation, and can form part of the daisy chain system allowing for replay and peak value display.
